Travel

I love to travel and have been lucky enough to see a few parts of the world. Here are some of the places I have been to.

Dominican Republic 2019

Kaunas (Lithuania) 2019

Costa Rica 2018

    Nairobi (Kenya) 2017

      Cahokia (USA) 2016

After watching a TV documentary, I first learned about Cahokia and was very interested in finding out more. Cahokia was the largest and most influential urban settlement of the Mississippian culture and is located just outside St Louis. In 2016, I spent a day at the site between a work assignment in St Louis.

Here are a few photos from my visit.

      A little information about Cahokia.

I visited the Indian (Native American) Museum, Concord town and hiked to the top of Mount Kearsarge (2937 Feet) during a break from a work assignment in 2004.

Mount Kearsarge Indian Museum is an educational and cultural centre dedicated to connecting people of today with 20,000 years of ongoing Native American cultural expression.

Concord is the capital city of the U.S. state of New Hampshire.

Mount Kearsarge is a mountain in Wilmot, New Hampshire, and Warner, New Hampshire. It is part of the Appalachian Mountains. The name derives from the western Abenaki (Native American) word for "rough mountain".
